SOTA Technologies is an IT Solutions provider dedicated to providing technological solutions to business problems faced by our customers. Using well-trained and skilled technicians, with a strong emphasis on customer service, we strive to provide the best solution for a customer need.

We service central Ohio, western PA and northern WV. Our corporate headquarters lies in Coshocton, Ohio where the company was founded in 1975. We also service central Tennessee and southern Kentucky from our Brentwood, Tennessee office.

Let's face it - for a majority of companies across the world - the days of multiple, stand-alone computers sharing information via floppy disk are - thankfully - over. Businesses now require the ability to effortlessly share information not only with other people in the same building, but with co-workers, vendors, and customers around the world. Without a well-designed and functioning network simple communication becomes difficult and tedious leading to lost efficiency, frustrated users, disappointed customers, and worse - lost revenue.

History

For almost 25 years, SOTA Technologies has been on the cutting edge of information systems. We began in the mid-seventies by writing custom software for the burgeoning Personal Computer. As the industry evolved, we adapted by continually investing in new technologies.

When we saw the potential of networking in the early 80's, we became Novell certified. In addition, we became certified resellers and repair technicians for various hardware vendors.

We became an ISP in the mid-nineties and built a WAN spanning 22 counties, 26 cities, serving over 8,000 customers.

Today, we have taken our vast experience in networking to specialize in Ethernet and IP traffic. The demand for our services is driven, in large part, by convergence. More companies are starting to leverage their WANS by putting Voice, Data and Video on the network. Placing such high demands on the network will require more than a novice engineer.

Our staff includes committed professionals with certifications from various manufacturers. More importantly, we have experience and a proven record.
